LMA, My New Heroine

Louisa May Alcott is pretty cool, not gonna lie. Read about her life in Kit Baake's whimsical LMA biography, which I review here.

I've always liked her books. I was thinking it would have been cool to do a project on the educational ideas in her books and then compare them to unschooling and other alternative education models today.

That'd make for some interesting research! Her father, Bronson, was a teacher and his methods heavily influenced LMA. He didn't have the most successful career, as his ideas were way ahead of his time - like allowing African American students to attend his school.
